random fit shuttle bumper question

Hi all
Thanks to my friend that is in the freight forwarding business and sometimes gets stuck with really random merchandise, I ended up a (not) proud owner of a blue bumper for a fit. Except I think (by the part number) it's the fit shuttle bumper.
I'm kinda curious, will it fit the (US) fit? Is it worth anything to anyone? Would anyone even want it? Any info appreciated

Got any pics of it??

While it might fit on the car you will most likely have to remove crash bar stuff. I have seen RS stuff installed with either crash bar removal or modifications.

If it was a rear bumper.

From the pics it appears to be a front bumper... which would require an extensive JDM front end conversion. Only several people on this site have even attempted that, but never fully completed it, specifically the plastic side panel piece (in front of the side mirrors)... that has to be custom made since after the JDM conversion neither the USDM nor the JDM piece fits.

Not to mention the numerous other parts & fab work needed to complete the USDM GE8 JDM conversion.

I missed the pics my phone didn't load them up for some reason the first time.

Curious what the part number is.

It's all good...
The rear bumper swap is as you described... easy peazy... just remove the foam/padding and install the new JDM rear bumper... or custom it like Alpina did and keep the foam, but (shorten) cut/reweld the reinforcement bar back there.

The front is a whole different beast...

Although, the 2012-2013 USDM GE8's can swap out their grill for the JDM Fit Shuttle version - plug & play.

The fit shuttle has the same long front end as the usdm fit. That bumper should fit on no problem.

Cool.. I guess I stand corrected... is that only on 2012+ models?

Has anyone done it yet?
I know ryu got the shuttle grill to work.

Well technically it can fit on any year Usdm GE, but a pre 2012 owner would need to buy the proper grille to fit the bumper. Post 2012 would already have the right grille as it is essentially the same bumper.

What would be more interesting to see is if someone could fit the facelifted fit shuttle bumper onto a usdm fit. Would mount up right, but don't know if it would clear the rebar.

Talking about this
