Rear seat belt won't latch

Has anyone had trouble getting the rear seat belt end to click into the socket? I hardly ever have back seat passengers, and discovered this issue just the other day. The red release button works smoothly, but when you try to click the belt tongue into it, it won't click and lock in.

Spray it with some silicone etc? Don't want to leave residue. Front belts both have always worked flawlessly w/o any lube.

DO NOT SPRAY SILICONE OR ANYTHING IN THERE!

If you are having issues with the seat belt latching take it to Honda, have a tech inspect and confirm it, then have it replaced. If the vehicle hasn't been wrecked before and/or hasn't been damaged due to neglect and also that the buckle is free of dirt or grime then it'll get replaced under warranty (REGARDLESS of year or mileage).

You may already be aware, but the receptacle on the center belt only works with the shoulder belt that comes out of the roof.

yep make sure its the right one. when u fold/unfold the magic seats, the seat belt receptacle tends to fall under the seat.

Figured it out, I'm a dizz-wit!

Didn't look closely enough before, it's got CENTER very clearly stamped in one of them. Sure enough, the left and right belts will not click into it, but work fine in the correct sockets.

DUH!
