Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor

I have the code P0847 "Transmission Fluid Sensor Pressure Sensor/Switch "B" Circuit Low. I havee tried the "flush" method (changing out the fluid 3 times) but still have the code. Does anyone have the part number and a place to get the switch? (besides the dealer) 2009 Honda Fit Sport.

I like Majestic Honda (but you said "besides the dealer"). This is for my 09 base, check for your vin. Don't forget the o-rings (6) and gasket.

Thanks. Actually thats a better price than my dealer. Do you know which switch it is? (10 or 11?)

I was thinking "solenoid set." Wasn't really aware of the switches/sensors. I'll have a look at the shop manual when I get home tonight to see if it makes a distinction, maybe in the troubleshooting section, for that code. My experience in this area is limited to talking about it. You can show them the online price list from Majestic and see if they'll match it. Majestic charges about $12 shipping/handling for a small box.

10. But be sure to check the vin for your car (probably the same part, but mines an 09 Sayama Base.

Shop manual pages on P0847 troubleshooting, replacement, locations

Thanks Steve, lots of useful information. I'll sort it out this weekend.

Does anyone know the oem part number for the "3rd Clutch Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch?"

Ebay keeps saying I need the Acura one, which does not fit the wire connector. When I find a smaller housing unit that has the same connector, Ebay says it is not the correct part!! My dealer was useless for a part number as they could not even find what I was talking about! My 2010 Fit Sport Auto shifts funky and a tranny guy said it should help, as I had the warning code. Already changed fluid - helped other issues.

Super Cheers for an answer!
