How does that HPS intake treat you? Installing mine next week with a new battery...

HPS intake

It's good so far, it was an easy install and no CEL came on. It's definitely louder with that and the exhaust. My mpg has increased slightly, which suprised me because I feel like I've been driving a little more aggressive since the install. I was hesitant when I bought it but so far I love it.

Good to know. These cars need another 10-15 HP if you ask me. They just get a little out of breath on the highway getting up to speed, and passing rock flinging trucks.

Header

I'm thinking about getting a header but I know it's gonna be super loud. I'm thinking about running it with a silencer.

so you painted the factory 12-13 wheels silver? that actually looks better than the polished/black oem look.

Yeah, I painted the stock sport wheels bronze. I wanted to see how bronze would look and it will protect them for the winter. I'm lookin at gettin some wheels in the spring. Just not sure what size I should go with

that's cool, looks good. i have 17x7 ET45 and 16x7 ET40 (2 sets) and run 5mm spacers on the rear. the 17x7 ET45 looks to be a better fit, but the 16x7 ET40 looks pretty good.... for me it's got a tad of poke in the front so looks kinda aggressive.

tires are 205/45/17 on the 17's and 205/50/16 on the 16's.

mpg increase with more aggressive driving

I got to drive an audi rs4 and it gave me the bug. Started looking at parts, this site came up a lot so i joined. I have a 2013 manual sport fit and had a 2010 m sport before that. on both cars I stayed under 4000 rpm for the first 5000 miles then changed my oil. For the first tank after I drove the same, the second tank I would shift round 4000~4500 city and getting on the highway take it up closer to the 6800 rev limit. On both cars with no upgrades I saw about 2mpg increase average.

There's a 10 character minimum for messages on the forum, so if the message comes up short, most people type "10char" to fill out the minimum.
