Any one out there have any experience with getting a spare or replacement key made for the '13 FIT?

I found some strings - but it is unclear if aftermarket keys worked well or held up well.

The Keys are transponder keys with keyless entry/panic button. My local trustworthy locksmith quoted me $75 for a 'just transponder' key that he says will open the car and start the ignition, and that a 'keyless' would have to be special ordered and would cost twice as much.

Poking around on the 'net I'm finding some stories about trouble with aftermarket transponder keys. And a wide range of prices on dealer made keys.
