A/C Compressor Quit

I have been reading the different posts on A/C issues trying to trouble shoot my problem. Thought I would share what I have found thus far.

I have a 2010 Fit Sport. Went into the gym and A/C was working, came out of the gym and no A/C, no Compressor, just blowing warm air. About a month ago I had to have the Condenser replaced due to a small hole. (big surprise right First thing I checked was the fuse, darn no such luck. So I thought the next thing would be the Compressor Relay. Never could find it's location and not available at the parts houses. So, the next thing was the pressure switch's. I refused to believe it might be the Compressor. Took it back to the shop, had them put the gauges back on it and low and behold, no Freon Not to long after starting to refill a cloud of Freon gas rose from the Condenser. They could not find the leak so they are ordering another Condenser to replace the defective one they put in. Will see what happens.

That sucks! At least they are replacing it as a defective part.

Issued solved

Following up on my A/C issue. Turns out the new condenser the shop put in to replace my leaking one had taken a hit and now it to was leaking. Had not been in a week and already a direct hit. They covered under warranty and I now have my third condenser and blowing cold air again Honda should really do something about this condenser issue with the Fits. Not sure but maybe with the newer models they already have.

No screen over the lower grille intake lets trash get inside way too easy. I put plastic screen mesh with zipties across after I found a hard chunk of plastic that had gotten bounced in somehow. I was lucky, didn't ding the condenser, but it wouldn't be long if I hadn't put in that screen mesh.
