13 Battery Problems

I parked my car for about a week, cause I use my work truck. So the other night I parked it, 2 days after car would not start at all.. Had to get a jump start from a f150 took about five minutes to start. Then after it started it had the brake and traction control light stayed on. But my question is what are people getting for life out of their batteries.

I replaced mine with a 51R from a Civic after 3 1/2 years. It takes some doing if you want to fit it in with the stock air box, but I've been really happy with it. I put in an aftermarket air intake at the same time. Partly because I wanted to, and partly because it would mean I could run a larger battery without cutting into the car or rearranging the cables.

I think the batteries have a 3 year warranty. If you are under three years, get one for free.
