passenger window issues, advice needed

So recently I noticed my passenger side window was responding slowly to the switch on the drivers side. Today I parked aND while sitting in my car heard a "ticking sound" coming from the door. I checked my switch and noticed that while it presses down finex there is no tension when pulling up, like it collapsed beneath the switch.

Thing is, the window is now unresponsive to the passenger side switch now. I have pressed the window lock button until I can get more info on how to resolve this to prevent the motor from burning out .

Any advice or direction on this would be appreciated. I'll be checking the repair manual later today as well. Hope it is just a switch and not a whole assembly that needs replacing.

got out of the gym and checked the drivers switch, and it seemed flushed and "felt" right.....window working again, though I'm hesitant to keep using it....

So was it just the window lock button that was depressed? I did that once... and proceeded to take off the entire door panel only to realize that mine was depressed too...

No. I pressed it in to cut off the signal being sent from the collapsed switch. Latet on in the day I pressed the switch and pulled on it and found tension returned , so I unlocked the windows.
