Transmission sensor locations

Hello,

I have a current issue with my 2010 Fit AT base (55k) where I had the "blinking D" and CEL come on. Checked the codes, (P0717, P0718), then the internet, and and found a wealth of info here about replacing the 2 sensors. (28810-RPC-013
28820-RPC-013)

What I couldn't find is their actual locations on the car. I only found this to go by. Is there any place to find pics online or are they easy to see from top or bottom?

Thanks!
Kevin

The diagram shows them on the back of the transmission, Probably to the drivers side of the header based on the pic you attached.. The lines form the part go to the trans housing that should indicate the position, there isn't that much there and they should be about the only electrical connection on the transmission.

Thanks for the reply. This is DD so I need this fix to be as smooth and quick as possible. I will add some pics when I get this done.

Got this done last night. I removed the battery and the airbox, both which were straightforward and painless to remove. Both sensors are pretty easily reached and are attached each with a single 10mm bolt. I moved the "transmission filter" (round thing in the pics) to get to one sensor that was directly underneath it. The other was under a bundle if wiring. Both were easy enough. Blurry pics below. This seemed to have solved the issue so far after clearing the codes.
Honda Part numbers 28810-RPC-013 and 28820-RPC-013. approximately $40.00

This is exactly what I'm facing as well. I have an 09 Fit, about 175K on it, getting errors as follows:

On the way home from work today, the engine surged lower in speed (I was doing about 115kph, dropped to about 110) and at the same time, the Check Engine light illuminated and the Gear indicator (in D for Drive) started flashing.

I pulled off the highway, shut the car off, re-started, and the flashing D went away, but the Check Engine stayed lit.

I called the dealership and they suggested getting it towed in. So instead I bought a code reader on the way home and pulled up these codes:

P0717 (1 of 3)
1. Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor (No Signal Input)
2. CVT Input Shaft (Drive Pulley) Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal Input
3. Input/Turbine Speed Sensor "A" Circuit No Signal

P0717 (2 of 3)
1. Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor (No Signal Input)
2. CVT Input Shaft (Drive Pulley) Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal Input
3. Input/Turbine Speed Sensor "A" Circuit No Signal

P0718 (3 of 3)
Input Shaft (Mainshaft) Speed Sensor (Intermittent Failure)

I have no choice but to drive it in the morning, I have stuff to get done, so I'm going to hope for the best and take it easy with the drive. On the way by the dealership I'm going to pick up the two sensors mentioned above and I'll find a nice quiet corner of a parking lot to install them in.

The dealership said they didn't have time to get to my car tomorrow anyhow.

*shrug* I'd rather deal with it myself and save some $$ anyhow.

I'm hoping the dealer has the parts in stock.

I got the longer of the two sensors (it was in stock at the dealership) and I'm now arms deep in the engine about to replace it.

Yippee!
