2010 FIT alighment , can anyone help me out ?
hi experts:
i got a 2010 honda fit, recently i did my alignment and below is what I reading:
Front camber: left -0.9 right -0.8
Toe: left -0.3 ; right 0.15 ; total -0.15
Rear camber: left 0.6 , right -1.4
Toe: left -1.1 ; right -0.95 , total -2.05
my fit drives slightly pulled, both left & right, the feeling is weird, sometime I feel it, sometime it doesn't. and yes, it was in the accident & been fixed, well, apparently not fixed.
I brought the fit to a few shops, each says different things, some said it the rim ( you can see the rim got some dent on the outside. )
1 shop said it the main metal on the back ( a big piece of metal connects both wheels on the back ), says the rims doesn't cause this.
the rear camber is way off they said, is there a way to fix? or I do have to
replace the big piece metal( and he charge $700 for it. ;(
does anyone know what is going on? ( I tried to save my money before getting ripped...)
The fit drives, has not lowered nothing done on it. I am just wondering, would it be a safety problem?

That rear to is a tidbit high but the camber is very likely the culprit on the left, having positive camber on 1 side is like having the rear wheels turned slightly.. Ruts in the pavement will tend to suck the back right with pushes the front left, then it will roll back in to the rut or roll out and pull more so its "squiggly"
If you were the owner when it had the accident you need to go back to the body shop and tell them its not done till the alignment is in spec..

You can adjust the front camber but you cannot adjust the rear camber as the US GE Fit has a fixed rear axle.
All US Fit's are off on the rear and if you really want to fix this issue, you can be like user BMW ALPINA who did the lovely conversion but that'll set you back a lot of $$$$.
Safety wise, it shouldn't be an issue. Just check your tires periodically and drive accordingly to the weather!

Since we don't know the damage ,, its a guess but if the rear tire hit a curb or bump hard sideways you could have bent the pickup point for the stub axle, A good alignment shop can sometimes apply force and bend the assembly back in spec. (Scary sounding but it works on this type of suspension....)
Or its not that big of a deal to buy the whole assembly off a used or lightly hit car to swap yours out..

thank you for both of you.
@dwtaylorpdx, I tried brought the Fit back to the shop, and yeah rear camber reading is pretty bad but Honda fit sucks cuz it does not adjust on the end. this is why they are not able to adjust the rear, I brought the fit to another shop & do alignment again, basically
telling me the same thing but that guy helped me adjust the toe in the front. and he said Rim's damage wouldn't pull the vehicle, it only vibrates.
so you were saying it could be my axle? I am trying to see what is going on, but like I said, the car drives ok, if you let go the wheel straight, it goes straight for a good 5-6 seconds I believe then it start pulling.
@Vinn:
you are right, the rear cant is adjust, they said need to replace the big piece of cross metal on the back(sorry I m not an expert not sure what that called )
well anyways, still looking for a way to fix it, but just have no luck.

That piece of metal is usually called an Axle Beam, yes thats the part that a really good shop can bend. The stub axle is attached to the end of it (I'm using generalities here every car has its own style and I haven't pulled the fit rear apart.. ) If you had insurance covered damage to it it should have been replaced as part of the repair, I suspect you got screwed a bit by the adjuster telling the shop that its "good enough" IF the rear was involved in the damage.
I went around and around once on a replacement of some rear suspension parts the adjuster kept trying to say its close enough I finally had to go over his head with the factory spec sheets ...
