Worst Fit Owner Ever.

Yes, that's me.
I just joined the forum and this is my first post, so please, take it easy on me.
I've had my 2010 Fit for about 6 years now. Besides the usual oil changes I've done absolutely nothing to my car. It's an automatic transmission with 104k miles. I know, it's bad. But I'm trying to change my ways and give my car some much needed TLC. I've never worked on cars but I'm trying to be a DIY'er as well. My brother has a nice set of tools, and some jacks stands and a jack are my next purchases. I'm hoping to learn as much as I can now that I'm making my own car my hobby.
As far as some of the things I've felt are wrong with the car: it seems to hesitate everytime it's about to hit 20 mph and it almost seems like it struggles to make the next shift. Besides that, the codes on my dash read B 12 4. Ive researched what those mean and i realize i have my work cutout for me. Im trying to save my car before it needs major work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks guys.

You will have better luck posting in the 2nd Gen forums, as it's specific to your model year.

At 100K your due for :
Coils
Plugs
Valve adjust
Trans oil change on the auto.

Neglecting the above will make the car run bad, foul the O2 sensors and clog the $$$$$ cat.

Don't forget the air filter and cabin filter. Probably time for new tires and brakes as well.

Good thing the filters are cheap and easy to do. Since you're attempting to be a DIYer, I would change the filters first since it will get you in the mode of doing things yourself. The ignition is very important to do. Change the plugs and coils next.

You may wanna do a coolant drain and fill and a brake fluid flush as well. After all that is done, should be like a top.
