P0107 Map Sensor

45k miles on my GE8. I read that it could be the connector to the sensor. It is very intermittent, and goes into fail safe mode during driving. I am not able to go over 3,000 rpms.

Has anyone ran into this code?

EDIT:
I purchased the MAP sensor for $60 and installed it. It did not fix my P0107 Map Sensor Low Input Voltage.

I put dielectric grease into the harness-side of the MAP connector. If it was a connector issue putting dielectric grease would exacerbate the problem. Sure enough it did. I ordered pigtail harness from Ebay for $15. Will install it this week and update.

That code is the bane of my existence. But my car is modified. It could be the sensor or the connector. Try cleaning the terminals for the sensor, i think there is some spray for that.

Good Ruck!

Here's a thread for the GD that I was referring to, it's not very detailed and is for the Kraft works super charger:

Ah gotcha. I have that issue in around the 3000-4000 rpm range part throttle. I can reproduce it at will unfortunately. I haven't dug too much into it yet.

I still have a feeling it could be the connector at the sensor.

Have you replaced the MAP sensor yet?

if you can find the voltage range for the factory sensor, the GM sensors are rock solid, and easy to adapt. if the signals are the same.

The GM/Delphi sensors comes in NA, and about 4 ranges for Forced induction.
