2Gen Navigation Map DVD , How Replace?

Hello, newbie here. I just bought a 2009 Fit Sport. There was no map dvd in the radio/gps/map console. I have looked at ebay, but am confused which dvd I should buy. I don't need the latest, corrected dvd, but I do want to get that gps nav system working without spending too much $. what should I do?

You need the "turquoise" map disc. Civics and I think CRV's use the same one.
You can order one from navigation.com or amazon.com.

Normal price is $149, but they go on sale for $99 all the time.

Be aware the maps are far from perfect. The company has had a lot of turmoil and layoffs due to being sold, renamed, reorganized, etc. Word is pissed off employees thought it would be funny to put mistakes in the map DVDs. There are numerous errors in the 2016 maps for the Chicago area (they are a Chicago area company, haha!). I don't know about other parts of the country.

If it affects your area, you have 30 days to get a refund. I got a refund on a 2014 disk after 50 days by complaining loud enough. I posted the mistakes here and used their app to report mistakes, to no avail. The same mistakes are in the 2016 disk.

thanks for the info. I found out that, in fact, the map disc was in my system after all, I just hadn't pushed the right buttons. the disc is the original one from 2009. I found thaT Out after after I bought a new used 2009 disc for 20$ on ebay.
No problem, pilot error.
I also have noted that the 2009 disc is not totally reliable, at least in my neighborhood of Northern Va, but it seems close enough.
I am especially interested in the breakdown of the company, navtec, I think.
