Unhappy Honda Fit 2008 paddle shifters and cruise don't work

Hi,

On the dashboard it doesn't show even the numbers.. Cruise green light is on but simply doesn't work.
I couldn't locate the fuse for those.. some fuses in the manual have only letter without actually explaining what they are for..

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Does the horn work?
Is the airbag warning light on?

What's that mean? Been removed or something? The reason I ask is all these have ONE electrical item in common, that's the clockspring. If it's bad you could lose the drivers airbag circuits, the paddle shifters, the cruise, and horn....but you have SOME of those working....but that can't rule it out completely.

The paddles are linked directly to the PCM and pass through the clockspring.

The cruise....you say the main switch will turn on one of the lights and it does stay on?
But the other switches won't activate the cruise?

How about checking brake switch inputs and clutch switch inputs (if equipped)?

Got check engine light on? Fault codes?

Yeah but I would do some checking with an ohm meter before just replacing it.
BTW there are several names for the same part, Honda usually calls it a cable reel and other manufacturers call it other names.

What about the airbag? Got fault codes related to the drivers inflators that could be attributed to the clockspring? (If bag is completely missing or disconnected, this may be a moot point)
