Holy short front end Batman!

I knew the JDM front end was shorter...but not THAT much shorter geez! Guess when i was in Japan in 2015 I didn't notice as much as I was eyeing all the cool Kei cars like the N-one instead of the Jazz's.

Also excellent use of the cargo space! =)

How much shorter will the front end be?

Also I plan to restore my headlights soon....debating between the Sylvania kit on amazon or buying various sand paper grits and wet sanding and clear coating it. What was your procedure?

I know its crazy! The fenders are equally short. I think its about 8 inches shorter in the front overall, but a comparison pic later on will be a lot more meaningful than a number.

I used both the mothers and meguiars restore kits. Its not 100% perfect, but an improvement over how i got them.

Cool can't wait for side profile shot. Should take a measurement from the center of the front wheel to the front of the bumper. Heck whats the measurement on the bumper itself? Like from the wheel well to the front of the bumper?

As for headlights thanks for the heads up. Seems the sylvania kit is the most popular...you wrapped them with clear vinyl instead of a clear coat?

Ill do a few before and after side shots and whatever angle you guys want too.

Measuring the bumper is a little tricky but ill see what i can do.

Mine are wrapped in xpel ultimate film. Like 3M clear bra but better.

Cool. The JDM lights dont have that obnoxious bump for the signal light...thats the only thing preventing me from wrapping it myself. Guess spray clear coat it is.

Look forward to updates! =)

Yeah its nice and smooth. Love the 2.5 gen design. Only update now is that im going to drop off the fit and parts at the shop by the end of this week. There seem to be some more delays, but im leaving town soon and he understands that i need to drop it off. I hope at this rate that it can still be completed in march in time for the annual fit meet in fresno

More and more delays, long story short this is now happening in a month. I assure you guys this will happen... Eventually. First delay was family issues, installer had to go to china for a month. After he came back from china, he found out his shop heater broke down, which delayed everything that was queued up before me. I hope to have this done and home by mid march but who knows at this rate. Anything could go wrong i guess. At least he is still fully committed to doing this

Patience is key Conner, I understand your frustration. Trust me I look at this K24 in my garage everyday before I leave for work, knowing that it will take all year to build lol
