The jdm cowls will omly march the jdm hood and fenders. Usdm one has a different curvature, but it lines up with the hood in the middle section.

The jdm and usdm side glass are the same, so it lines up perfectly with the plastic trim piece. You just gotta get jdm piece cause the usdm one is actually shorter.

First stage complete! Jdm dimensions restored

Currently getting paint protection, should be done in a couple hours.

Still a few plastic pieces here and there under the hood and along the cowling. Mugen stuff here soon.

CEL light is on though. Im getting aj racing to scan it after the paint protection is done.

Looks great Connor. One question, why is the lip like a creamy white color vs the TW of the rest of the car?

That part gets completely covered by the mugen lip so no point in paying extra to paint it. Itll only be like this until the mugen goes on on monday

Ah so is that the OEM lip? The mugen covers that and part of the bumper as well right? Hope your drive went well.

Yes, it a two piece bumper. The lower grille is integrated with the lip so it was a necessary piece. The mugen lip covers like 80% of the rs bumper.

Gorgeous stubby little Fit! Looks so much nicer than the USDM body in my opinion. Looks like the panel gaps are pretty even, they must have done a good job with the brackets. Waiting for side shot.

Thanks guys! I agree with you. The difference in person is far more dramatic than pictures can show. Im so happy with the outcome, i cant wait to get the mugen done now! The design is somehow both more modern and evil looking haha.

Here are some more shots for reference.

Man that approach angle is probably so much better now.

I don't know if it's been answered. Since the entire front end is smaller, is the car now lighter?

Looks good! I think the mod is worth it just for the shorter length, easier parking is a huge benefit.

A bit, probably not as much as youd think since the usdm was mostly empty space anyway. But since the mass closer to the center of the car, it does seem a little more nimble.

Thats true, 10 inches or so shaved off including front and rear!
