Hi All,

I have just bought a recon 2013 FIT Hybrid and I have the navigation screen all in Japanese, do u guys know if there is a way to change it to English?

Also, when I first drove the car, the mirror fold automatically when I stop the engine, but I manually opened and close them once and since then, it stopped folding automatically, is there a reason why? or something I did wrong?

I welcome any tip and advise since this is my very first car

Nice colour.

You could try checking the fuse(s) for the mirrors. Sorry no idea which one. If you have a manual it will have a list. Or it is possible you may have broken one of the cables inside the mirror cover.

No idea if you can switch language. Try contacting a Honda dealer somewhere. Do you have one there?

Unfortunately, I wasnt provided with a manual, and I bet it will be all japanese, I tried finding one online but noticed that the inside of my car is different from what is shown in the pictures?

For the mirror I now noticed it opens when I turn on the engine and folds in when I lock the car, which is also fine and I'm happy with it. Not sure if the previous owner did some customisation on it, but it's pretty cool and handy.

The screen seems to only have Japanese, the car dealer told me I need to download the english pack to be able to change it, but he doesn't know how and what system it is.

 

Well your mirrors are working they way they should. We do not get the auto folding ones here.

Maybe try contacting Honda and see if there is someplace to download.

 

Hello. I have a 2013 honda fit hybrid from Japan too. I have problem with one of the 4 ignition coils. I'm therefore looking for the ignition coil Hitachi CMH11-121 online, which i am unable to find. Can someone find me one which i can buy online? I live in Mauritius and thus needs an online seller which can ship the item to Mauritius. Thank you in advance
