The Fit is getting a supercharger

Longtime member since before I bought my fit brand new back in 2012. Mostly been a lurker but wanted to post as I'm going to do a supercharger.

VIP Performance in Portland OR will be doing the install and tune.

Supercharger is gonna be the Kraftwerks.

I'll try and post some pics of the install and will for sure show a test video when it's rippin and roarin.

I think you bought the wrong supercharger,
because Kraftwerks do not make Supercharger kit for Honda Fit GE (yours is 2012 right?).

only Sprintex make Supercharger kit for Honda Fit GE.

well... HKS also make one for CR-Z that can be fitted to a manual transmission Honda Fit GE but need J's Racing adapter kit...

After conferring with folks at VIP Performance it looks like Sprintex it is going to be. This was the kit I originally was going for but the rep I talked to suggested Kraftwerks but his shop has done lots of Hondas just never a fit so he didn't realize it wouldn't work.

I haven't purchased it yet and weather here has delayed any further progress. I'm hoping to drop by their shop tomorrow or next week to have them order the kit. Still not sure if I'm going to do any other add-ons as price is already climbing.

I hope you are able to get and enjoy what insane fun a boosted Fit has to offer.. You may be able to pick up a second hand Kraftwerks kit and a descent GD3 to install it in for less money.. They do pop up for sale every so often and are easy to install

Texas Coyote: yes I'm excited to join the GE8 boosted crowd, and remember your posts fondly about your install. I bought my 2012 brand new and don't really want to get another car. So far the shop only wants $1400 for install and tune which isn't so bad, now its just a question of if any other mods (intake, exhaust etc.) are desirable and/or necessary since this kit seems like it only pushes out 150-170 hp.
