Just updated my Navi map with 2017 data. It's the newer USB style and not the old DVD type. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but I figure I'd check to be sure.

Once I have updated the map from the USB flash stick, I assume there is no further value in it beyond a Honda logo'd 16GB flash drive. Am I right?

ugh I need to do that. I'd have thought buying a certified pre-owned they'd upgrade the damned nav for me.

 

Mine hadn't been update since new ('12) so I figured after 5 years it was time.

 

Mine's a '13, just bought it last month. The salesman has not returned my calls or emails about getting it updated for me. I really do not want to shell out a hundred to a hundred-fifty bucks for it.
