Rear driver side window not working.

I recently purchased a 2009 honda fit sport and so far I love the car. The only problem I am having is that the rear left window wont roll down from either the main switch or the rear switch. I have already checked the fuse its fine. Does it make sense to buy a new main switch panel if neither switch works or could I need a new motor?

It would make much more sense to do some electrical testing before spending money needlessly.

Voltmeter? Test light?
A simple #194 light bulb inserted in the window motor connector can illuminate much valuable information.

Even better forget it and use the other three.

lol my bad. I'm not sure exactly I think there might have been dirt in the switch plug or something. I took part of the door panel off and unplugged the master switch, blew compressed air in it and then put it all back together. I kept flipping the switch and the window started to work.

Motor might have been stuck....I see that sometimes when the windows haven't been opened in a long time. Sometimes I can hold the switch down and slam the door real hard and that jars the motor enough to get it working again......

I usually expect that the owner won't ever use the window so the next time I see the car 2 years in the future it won't work again.

I'm sure the motor being stuck was all it was. Ill have to make sure that I let all the windows down every now and again to prevent that from happening again.
