Running wires to OEM tweeters on base?

Running wires to OEM tweeters on base?
I'm thinking of grabbing a couple of OEM tweeters from Bernardi Parts to put in my base 2012.
There is no wire, but I'm not afraid to run one. Do I just splice into the front-left (+/-) and front-right (+/-) wires on the radio harness? Or is there something special I should be aware of.
Also, does the stock cover work, or do I have to buy a special one?
