Horn Issue

So, I just switched out the 2011 Fit horn for an Accord horn. The Accord horn didn't work when tested. I re-connected the original horn and now this is also not working.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Thanks for any help!

Agreed. Possibly a fuse.

I just experienced the exact same thing!
Installed a new Accord horn and it didn't work...Put the old one back and still no sound..
Checked the fuses and it was fine.
I then bolted the old horn tightly and voila it worked!
I then reinstalled the new horn tightly and it suddenly worked fine.

Time wasted 1 hr...Knowing where the fuses are and how to remove trim panels...priceless..

That makes sense. The OEM horn uses the mounting bolt as the ground circuit.

On this topic of horns, while the horn sound is a little beefier, it's still not like the beefier sound on my Odyssey.

Is there a 2nd horn located in the bumper that I can also change out?

in the case of gk5's, there is 1 horn visible from the front bumper, and 1 horn nice and hidden in the drivers side fender liner. perhaps ge8's have 1 hidden as well?

The paint in the front end of the Fit is thick, i tried using a battery level checker from Battery + to Body ground and it doesnt read anything even on bolts, unless you scratch the paint to reveal the metal part.
It may be that your horn has a grounding issue, you need to file the place where you will put the horn and just spray over it with clear anti rust after attaching to avoid rust eating away.
Horns are in front and lower front side below the headlight, L or R i dont know which one lol
Need to remove bumper to reach!
