Radiator removal

I was removing the radiator however I didn't see the wire and connector for the water temp sensor at the bottom. I accidentally ripped the wires out of the connector. Can anyone tell me what's the best way to go about fixing this?

There isn't enough wire left inside the connector to solder the broken wires back to. I'm hoping the dealer sell new connectors with leads already on them.

Also, once I had the radiator out I was cleaning up some spilled coolant and I noticed what looked like a good amount red oil (guessing it's transmission fluid) on the floor. Is this normal, where did it come from?

Thanks
