New Here - Owner of 2010 Honda Fit
Hello everyone,
I purchased my Fit back in April with 178k miles on it. It's your basic model fit with a 5 speed manual tranmission.
The car is great, runs great, awesome fuel efficiency and so much space for being such a small car. Couple of annoying things though, recently it got that 0420 CEL code. I replaced the top o2 sensor but the CEL still comes up. I am assuming it is the actual cataytic converter. I've read through the forum about the anti-fouler helping get rid of the CEL, anyone have any luck with this? The second annoying thing is that when I was parking, the front bumper/splash guard got caught on a divider so now my front bumper is misaligned and the side kind of pokes out. Aside from those two things, the car is great. Happy to be here amongst other Fit/Jazz owners!

Your Fit has two O2 sensors => one upstream of the cat, and one downstream. It appears you replaced the upstream sensor. The P0420 code is saying either the downstream sensor or the cat may be bad.
Suggest first checking for exhaust leaks. If none are found, either the downstream sensor or the cat may be bad.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it may be the downstream o2 sensor but that bugger is a little more difficult to get to considering I don't have a jack/jack stands. I may bring it over to the local hobby shop once I secure a downstream o2 sensor. It's more of an eye-sore than anything to see that CEL on every day. Just one of my pet peeves but alas, such is life.
