Head Unit skipping on Coilovers

Hey I have a GE8(12) on form2function coilovers(hate them) and a pioneer AVH4200-NEX head unit. Anytime I hit a bump the head unit(in Bluetooth mode) cuts off and wont continue playing music until I restart the unit. The head unit is installed in a Metra double din which doesn't sit right in the dash. I've tried applying pressure to the HU on bumps doesn't help. All wires and connections are in good order, nothing is getting cut or shorted. I think it comes down to the HU itself... maybe the hardrive? Never opened up a head unit before not sure what they run on but in any case my question...
how to secure the HU from outside shock/bumps?
was thinking rubber washers around mounting screws or a rubber seal around the dash insert?
in any case its very annoying to deal with any ideas would be much appreciated.
Kosta.

how stiff are u running the dampers? i bet ur car runs slower than a stock car cause you are shaking the weak engine and it can't rev up smoothly.

i don't think you can isolate the HU with just rubber grommets and washers.

set your suspension softer. goal is to ride smooth.

when you say "it cuts out", does the power turn off? or just the sound? i will still double check your wiring. check how u tucked your wire harness behind the head unit, thats maybe why its not sitting in all the way. did u solder your connections? electrical tape is no good.
