I kept trying to put my alpine head unit through the scocsch dash and for some reason it only goes in like half way. Theres like a metal frame part that wraps around the head unit near the front to almost halfway point that seems to be slightly too big for the whole head unit to slide through. How did you guys over come this problem and how do I get the HU to slide all the way in?

 

it fits, make sure all wiring is out of the way, all alpine HU's should fit but VERY tight. the depth shouldn't be an issue with the newer HUs either.

The biggest complaint I have.... not enough room to maneuver the cables.
