Noise (whirring) that increases when I give it gas
I just bought a 2010 base model Fit yesterday! I'm excited. But also concerned about a noise, like a whirring noise, that happens while idling, but especially while giving it gas. I think it gets better when I'm coasting downhill, so my thought was maybe an older serp belt? (114k miles, probably in need of replacement soon). My dad was afraid it could be something worse, like power steering line or clutch, I forget what he said.
How would I go about diagnosing the whirring noise? Any thoughts on what to check out? Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the lead, Kenchan--I went from having no idea to now being pretty sure it is the input shaft bearing. Which I'm disappointed about, as it sounds like an expensive fix. When I researched throwout bearings, I learned those make a noise when the clutch is engaged, but since the noise was there even when I got out of the car to listen to the engine, it is almost certainly the input shaft bearing. This video is exactly the sound it's making!
Any idea how much the fix would cost? I've seen numbers from $300 to $1500.
Technically it's still under warranty, but only if a part "fails"--I wonder if this counts. Hope so.

Yes this is important. Also do you not have a phone with a camera? It's 2021, just record the noise yours is making and upload it to youtube.

It was 2018, we didn't have no fancy video phones back then!
