Hi there, are there any threads where I can find L15A7 engines turbocharged the proper way? Meaning built properly? I'm trying to find a decent foundation. From what I gather is that these engines don't do too well in a High Compression daily setup (what I mean is that they don't make good power) so to turbocharge is a decent option. Please help.

Good luck, the compression for these engines is too high and the internals aren't strong enough to put boost on and expect them to last. Throw your money away however you want.

EDIT: Looks like the L15B7 engine? Sweet build, but I'm looking for builds on the A7.

 

What do you even mean by a "proper built?" From Honda? From some other company? Or just some supposedly really well researched DIY setup?

Have you considered nitrous oxide?
​​​​​​Zex makes a safe kit for Honda. I've had one on my Prelude for over 15 years now...never a problem with it. It's a lot of fun.
