Such a fun car.

My GE-8 is probably the most fun car to drive I've ever owned. I bought it from a one owner at 33k and just now crossed over 78k.

I want to start modding, but am unsure of where to start or where to get good aftermarket stuff.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can 'Jazz' up my bone stock Fit

It depends on what you want. Some want performance so the typical stage 1 mods like intake, exhaust, performance pads, lowering springs and wheels and tires.

Some want better sound, so a sound system upgrade is in order.

Some want nicer interiors so upgraded seats/upholstery/etc...

Some want more functionality so roof racks/trailer hitches and yes, even camper beds!

Others with 'alternative taste' will add giant spoilers, gaudy hood scoops and underglow.

The stock wing is OK. I would personally prefer something a little bigger.

Currently the only past-stock improvements that have been made are window tint, Wagner platinum pro brake pads, Firestone All-Season tires, and penzoil platinum oil.

My next goals are aftermarket intake and exhaust. Everyone seems to love the Tanabe exhaust ,so I will prolly go with that, but not so sure about the intake, I'm still looking for a good all-in-one kit.

Body wise I want to lower it an inch or 2, but know very little on how to do so. I know aftermarket springs, but unsure about everything else.

:-) I put my decal 'T' on the inside of my truck rear window, but the glass is factory tinted and it's hard to see. I then bought a no-nonsense magnetic 'T' for the bumper and it looks good.

Don't ever drive a Miata then. It'll ruin your opinion of the fit. I drove one for 12 years and the fit feels like an SUV by comparison--even with a manual transmission.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect the 2 to be be compared in such ways, apples to oranges. I'd fully expect the Miata to blow the Fit away in terms of raw performance.

But can you take a family of 4 with luggage to the beach in a Miata? Not so much. Lol

It really is a fun car. Mine is even the same color as yours (though when I pay it off, I will have it painted). I am working on turning mine into a "battlewagon," with a small hitch for my bike rack, Weathertech liners, and a roof rack. Eventually I will get to stuff like exhaust. Mine only has 26k on the clock so I have a lot of time left to even think about it.
