2010 Door Lock question (Base model)

Had my Fit a number of months, love it, first saw one when a drummer friend fit all his stuff in it, my music crap (full PA), guitars "fit" with no problem. Also all my wood working stuff.

Only thing I hate, or maybe it's a problem. The driver's door lock seems to be the only one with an actuator to open all the doors, is there supposed to be an actuator to use the key to unlock all doors from passenger and tail gate locks? Or is this by design, I also did not get a key fob (bought used car), do they have key fobs for unlock/lock?

Thanks,

Jay

My 2010 Fit is exactly the same..regarding door locks.
I bought mine a year ago and have wondered since if something is wrong with the door lock set-up.
Hopefully someone who knows, will chime in with an answer.

I had the same problem, chose to buy this instead of fixing the lock. Took longer to open the package than it did to program the key fob. Remote entry is built into the car you just need a key fob to use it. This product worked with no problems and took seconds to program with no other tools than the original key.

Put your original key in the ignition and follow directions for programming. Basically you turn the car on and off 4 times (not the engine just from off to run then back to off) and press the lock button on the fob each time you turn it on. On the fourth round it should be programmed and should lock the doors, press the lock botton twice more to save the programming to the key fob and now you have keyless entry for about 14 dollars.
