Anyone Know where I Can Get Cargo Lid Install Snaps?
Hi guys, i just bought this OEM cargo lid (for 2009 Fit) but my car is a 2012 Fit, i got the 2009 lid because it has the extra material that covers the 3 inch gap (2012 lid's dont not come with this material to cover the gap as most of you know)..anyway i am looking for the metal snap rivets that go inside the back of the seat (the other part (male)of the snap is attached to the fabric material of the lid already). Anyone know where i can purchase JUST these snaps? Honda stealership dont know what i am talking about and asked me to "make an appointment" to inspect my back seat...yeah right.

The same lever you use to lower the seats into the floor. The back reclines with 2 positions.
Can you post pictures of the snap? You may be able to get something like it from a craft store, like hobby lobby or Michaels

thanks for the fast replies guys - ill shoot a photo when i get home..in tje meantime, do you know if the 2012 has the pre-designed holes in the back of the rear seat where the metal snaps should go? Here is a youtube clip showing the install..but again , this is for a 2009 Fit. BTW i'll need an illustration about the rear seat recliner, i did not find the lever that is supposed to recline the back seat - yet.
The lever to fold the seats forward is near the headrests, on top of the seatback. When you pull up on the lever, you can push the seat towards the back of the car which will allow it to recline a few degrees.
what I did make it easier looked at the cargo cover holes and looked how spread apart they are and push down hard on the carpet and u will feel it
the flappy part is hidden behind the rear seat so i'm ok with it
..what i could do is get a thin wooden rod placed underneath the flap to help smooth out the flap on top(as opposed to it dropping flat down between lid and rear seat)..less work i think, i quick trip to home deopot..

No snaps required.
Hey i just wanted to weigh in what i did with my cargo cover. I have a 13 base so had same issue. The snaps i could only get if i ordered a new cover (got mine 2nd hand). so i used a bit of fabric glue and velcro on the flaps end and just stick them to the seat. This also prevent having to unsnap them to fold seats down the velcro just peels off.
