My wife has a 2003 Honda Civic EX coupe. She is waiting for her 2019 Honda HRV Touring Edition to arrive near Christmas. We have a set of snow tires / wheels for the Civic 185/65/15. I would like to use them on my 2011 Honda Fit Sport 185/65/16. I have seen someone on this Forum running the Si wheels so I believe the wheels will be fine. The tires seem a little taller. Do you think it will be okay to use them?

 

You also need to look at the load rating of the tires not just the size.

are you saying you have 185/65/16 on your Fit now? Thats not right....they should be 185/55/16. 25.46" OD vs 24.01" OD

185/65/15 is the factory size for the '03 EX Coupe - they measure 24.46" OD. that would be fine for a GE/GK Fit..but 25.46" OD is no good..too big.

 

Your second statement is correct. I have the 185/65/15 on the Fit.

 

 

I have 185/65R15 as well on old Civic rims.

 

You are the one I was thinking of. I have seen an earlier post with your Fit and Si wheels that gave me the idea of using her wheels. Thanks

 

I originally read it wrong. I thought you wanted to use them on the HRV
