I put #4 in my Fit last year. Really like it and it was easy to install. The sliding armrest extends out enough that the shifter is reachable with my arm resting.
It's also very sturdy...I've supported most of my weight on it and it doesn't even wiggle.

Got this one last year. Around $40. Really like it. Solid. Only minor complaint is the width. Tight fit if have wide ass which makes fastening seat belt a bit tight. You soon learn to slide to the left a bit.

I bought one off eBay and it has held up well so far. I believe it was around $35. Works well enough for the price, especially because it did not require any drilling (simply a friction fit). The armrest portion lifts up and the rear silver part slides back to function as a cupholder/trashbin.

Apologies for the grainy pictures...

One I was going to get sold out so I finally got this one. Took 2 months then showed up damaged. Seller refunded me.

Some scratches but the bigge was the soft part slides out and can also angle towards you. One of the holders for that broke. So I just super glued the top on and it's fine. The whole top part moves back and forth on a rachet so I can still get it plenty close. With the slide out it will totally cover the brake handle so it does go far out.

It just sticks in the two back holes using pressure, no screws at all. Thought that would be bad but it is surprisingly solid. No cover for the hole from the old armrest. Cuo holder is also useless, still not one water bottle in my house will fit anywhere in that car.

In the end it is so much more comfortable! For sure worth 40 bucks. I can shift with my elbow on the pad which is really what I wanted. Does have storage in it also and could make a super secret compartment in it.

It can slide further forward than this pic shows.
