(I guess this is one of the difficulties in getting reliable data ).
The repair histories merge responses from two surveys, the main reliability survey that provides data for the stats, and a second survey for things that cannot be reported via the main survey (old repairs, wear items, cars not yet in the main survey, etc.) but that people want to post.

As a result, you'll see repairs in the repair histories that are not included in the stats.

We've updated the results for the Fit to include owner experiences through September 30, 2010.

Other sources of car reliability information won't cover the months since April until the summer or even fall of next year.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2010: 32

2009: 11

Both are better than average.

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop.

For the 2009, the percentage with no repairs is about 94, while the percentage of lemons is less than one. These are extremely reliable cars.

Honda Fit Lemon-odds and Nada-odds

Thank you, once again, to this forum and everyone who has been helping.

We'll have further updates in February and May. Excellent participation by Fit owners.

We have some new pages that display all reported repairs by problem area:

2009 Honda Fit problem reports

From this page it's possible to select a different model year or specify a problem area.

Not any more : )

The problem was in the link, not on the site per se. Fixed the link.
