Drive shaft problem

I installed my coils few months ago and while my frnd was helping me install them the driver side drive shaft came off from the axle? it took us some time to it back on but since then the driver side wheel is hanging out from the fender well about 1~1.5 inches. is it because we put the drive shaft in a wrong way that it's hanging out or is it from something else.... I'm suspecting its where the shaft connects to the car but just wanted to see if anybody had the same problem as me here on the forum. I need help!

Try loosening the 2 bolts that connects your coils with your axle just loosen them and have someone push the axle in and then while someone is pushing the whole axle in have someone quickly re tighten the 2 bolts.

It's the cv joint, its not seated correctly. Retry and retry until you get it back to normal. It may take 5 minutes or it may take hours depending on just how lucky you are

You have been driving like this for months? Get it fixed before you have a serious problem.

Amazing how many times people have been told to tie up the front axles when doing springs and yet they persist in ignoring the advice.

People also neglect getting an alignment after lowering. It is amazing how many ppl don't do this, just driving around with bald ass cambered tires, bottomed out shocks and misaligned cv shafts. I had a crx I bought from a kid that was "slammed" and "sooo sick" I went through two red lights because the brake hydro lines were cut through by rubbing tires. This was only days after driving it home.

I haven't done work on my Fit yet, but I did change out the drive axles on my old Camry before. What I noticed was that there was a clip towards the end of the axle that goes into car. At first it didn't line up correctly, because I thought I pushed it in all the way. I'm assuming the Fit has a similar design and just make sure it even has the clip on there to hold it in place.

I had this problem too. I just pulled the axle out. Of the trans and popped it back into place. Its a lot easier to get the yolk back together if you have a lot of room.
