Spoke with my agent and apparently since my deductible is more than the cost I wouldn't get any help through insurance. So no glass coverage I guess.

I have an appointment on Monday at a local glass place I've used before. They quoted me $310 cash price. There may be somewhat cheaper places around—I haven't checked, as I've been satisfied with them before and it's not really out of line IMHO—and prices do vary from place to place some as well.

It's best IMHO to use a glass specialist rather than the dealer or a general repair shop; windshield replacement is a rather specialized operation, and improper installation (contamination of the adhesive with oils from the hands, etc.) can lead to various problems, such as leaks and failure in the event of an accident.
