How much for a Windshield Replacement for 2015 Honda Fit?

I have a 12 in "S" shaped crack on the windshield. I don't know who did it. Itg was in the parking lot in a rotten part of town. No damage to the frame, just the glass is cracked.

Do you have insurance? I've never paid for a cracked windshield......not that I've had many cracked windshields, , perhaps 2, but...our insurance covered it

Sometimes the deductible on insurance is more than just buying the windshield replacement. Windshields aren't free replacements under my State Farm plan.

For future reference, it may be worthwhile to amend your auto policy to include "full glass coverage). I'm not sure what it costs me, but as I remember, it's a very small extra cost. That way, glass replacement is covered with no deductible.

You ought to contact your insurance company. In my case State Farm has always paid for everything on all on of my vehicles including my motor home, trucks, and SUVs. I have not had a windshield claim on a FIT yet but it has the same coverage.

What replacement glass are y'all getting? I got hit by a rock near the top edge. Within three days it turned into a large curved crack over 12" long. Is Pilkington Solar available for GK's?

used OEM Honda fit 2015 windshield from $150 to $250 from car-part.com

you can buy the tools for $50 and do it yourself or pay someone $70-120 to install it for you.

Insurance coverage for glass varies by state. Some states have full glass coverage and I hear will even do it if the glass is just pitted through normal driving. You really need to contact your insurance company. I woke up one morning 15 years ago, went down to my garaged car and saw a crack in the windshield (it later turned out the window frame was rusting and I spent a day braising in a new part). My insurance company paid for it 100%, no questions. It didn't affect my insurance rates and there was no deductible.

I guess I’m reviving this thread to ask if the molding down around the wipers has to be removed to replace the windshield?

2018 Honda Fit Front Windshield Replacement

After getting a couple of estimate quotes on Yelp got my front windshield replaced for $260 total. Mobile service came out to my work and did it in just over an hour. Ripoff Safelite through Geico was going to charge $464 total.

I need an new one. Before I could get a chip fixed the windshield cracked from the heat. Local estimates are $225-$236 tax included. I have State Farm. They once paid Safelite $50 to fix a rock chip. I could have had it done for $25 from the place that quoted me $236 for a new windshield.
