Misaligned steering wheel

I've just swapped leather steering wheel from basic plastic wheel and it seems that new wheel is misaligned. Old plastic was good, wheel straight, car went straight. It was impossible to put the new leather steering wheel exactly the same position, I needed to misalign it to the left or right.

Is it possible to adjust the steering wheel somehow without taking it to the 4 wheel adjustment to the specialist?

I had this same problem in 2006 Civic 5door hatchback. I found a way to tune the steering, followed the principle from 9th civic forum: DIY: Adjust an off-set "crooked" steering wheel

Worked just fine. Steering wheel was like "3-4 minutes" off. Took about 20 minutes to adjust.

Yesterday evening I aligned the steering wheel. Basicly it is "trial and error": adjust, test, adjust, test. I managed to get it right at the first try

I removed the wheel to get more space. As we live in North with snow and salt half of the year, corrosion is visible. Although I have 2011 ym...

Loose the nut, adjust, tighten the nut and job done. Do the same to codriver side as well.
