I have the similar DEH-X9500BHS installed in our Honda Element. The new Pioneer head units have very good bluetooth capabilities for both streaming audio and phone. For under $200, I am VERY impressed. The 'Mixtrax' feature is a bit silly - we call it "seizure mode" and I wish they hadn't wasted a big button on it. One feature I like on the X9500 versus the X8500 is the dual USB ports - with two ports I can leave a big USB stick full of media connected and still have a port for connecting/charging a phone.

The Scosche dash kit will probably not be the right color if your Fit has the dark gray/black dash trim that my 2013 Sport has.

Thank you for the info!
I am thinking of doing the double din version of said deck - and getting the 2012 navi dash to match the black dash - just wanted to confirm with the dealer about the parts colors... If anyone has done the conversion from this dash to the next please chime in! Thanks!

I did a double DIN install on the 2013 Fit Sport.

Here is my thread with pics if you haven't seen it yet. I think all the part numbers are accurate for the 2012/2013 dark plastics. The factory nav trim and brackets fit great, but the opening is slightly larger than double DIN, so you need a trim ring kit to fill the space. A Pilot kit is what I used, not sure if anyone has found one that fits even better.
