Never was a fan of the base, but I am deffffinately diggin the look you have going

 

(obviously) I have a Sport, but as far as exterior appearance goes I can never decide which I like more - a "Base" with aftermarket alloys or a Sport. There's nothing particularly wrong with the Sport alloys, but I have to hurry up and trade 'em out for something more unique ASAP! The blacked-out headlights on the Base are awesome, and I can easily live without the Sport bodykit. So it's a wash... IMHO!

How much of a drop is that? the rear looks lower than the front

 

Ummm, I'm not sure how much the total drop is, but I measured the height from the sideskirt and its 4in front and back. It settled a bit and got a little lower in the front.

When you refer to the "Skunk2 coils," are you referring to the coilovers they make for the GD3?

If so, how has the performance of GD3 suspension been on your GE8. I have thought about using GD3 suspension components on my GE8 for some time now but obviously I have some concerns.

Any insight you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, i have the GD3 Skunk2 Pro-C's on my GE. the performance is pretty good. ive never had a coilover set up before so im pretty happy with mine. the only thing i ran into that was sort of a problem was that the spot where the brake line mounts on the strut is different on the GD so i had to use zipties to secure the lines to the struts. besides that, everything is awesome. oh and i dont know if this is totally true, but i still have ALOT of space to go lower. so i dont know if that means GE's can go lower with GD components or not, but i can probably have my front bumper on the ground if i wanted to.

 

Those are some crazy lookin headlights. The kit looks clean too.

It just rained today, i was planning on washing my car and doing a mini shoot, looks like that will happen this week sometime. I got the rims on tho, i have 1 crappy cell pic in my photo thread in my sig.
