ey, jamy, i want to tell you about the jdp spoiler

i got it, its SUPER nice, BUT some problems... oem honda fit sport caps dont fit the jdp wing, they dont give you any either, so screws are always exposed, i had to pretty much glue my own caps on

2nd, where it meets the top of the trunk, its not flush to it, so there is a gap, i didnt want dirt and debris going in, so i had to, very poorly, make a silcone seal

3rd if you did the jdm rear windshield wiper mod, when you want to lift the wiper, you have to bend it cause the wing blocks it

just fair warning i dont want you to fall in to my trap... i personally dont care that much but i can see where some people will flip a witch

Thanks for the heads up! I have a Base Fit so I'll have to drill into the hatch and what not. Do you think adjusting where the holes are compared to the sport would make a difference? I do like the way the JDP spoiler is a little longer and curves up more (or at least appears to) compared to the stock spoiler.

yeah umm as for drilling, that was annoying too

pretty much the holes go right where the latch hindges for the trunk goes

if you dont want to drill out to the other side, you have to open like the wiring cable rubber thing and squeeeze in your nuts there which was a hassle

but it does look nice... after all that trouble

Ugh... lol So basically I'll need all the stock hardware before I get the spoiler too huh? I may just go for it and if it comes out well then good. If not then I may just turn around and sell it. I reaaaaally like the way it looks though. Has that STI hatch look to it which we all know adds like 12 hp and 13 torques lol.
