Thanks fellas. It's a damn money pit, but it does bring me joy, one slow lap at a time.

SPEC Clutch Puck

Chris,

Look what just showed up. Waiting on the FlyWheel.

This is a stage 4 (SH414-2, 4-puck solid hub).

I suggest replacing the pilot bearing (#13) every time you do a clutch. It doesn't come with the new clutch. They might have already replaced it when they rebuilt the trans. But it's cheap insurance.

Double check the part number:

I want to say I ordered a couple with the flywheel, but that may have been another shopping cart when I was shopping online. If none show up with the flywheel, just let me know and I will order some up and have them shipped directly to me.

Just checked and they are still in the shopping cart, so just the flywheel is making its way to you.

Sorry to read about the whole Bisi issue in the other thread, but those CE's look fantastic on your build. Best of luck with everything.

Thanks Doug. With the setback, maybe Carlquist can knock it out and I'll be able to install it while shit is still torn apart. hahaha

I don't want to blame Bisi, nor am I. It could very well be J's, but I will not lay blame there either. It is quite baffling to say the least though.

Thanks, those CEs are the ClubRacer model, 100g lighter than the normal CEs in the same sizing. They are wearing A050s, strictly circuit use for these CEs/tires. I just left them in the car when I dropped it off after Suzuka, and told J's to use them when setting up the sussy, because I drove over on Blizzaks.

Read in another thread that your Fit 'put out some numbers'. What were they? Did you do before and after?

what numbers did this put out?

did you ever get a flow chart for the ported head?

do you happen to know what centerline the bisi cam was set at?

do you have an adjustable cam gear?

if the rev limit is set to 6800 then Im rather certain this motor is over cammed running a level 3.

All Bisi parts have been axed. I'll have them in my possession shortly and will let them go quite cheap if anyone is interested. This has turned out to be the biggest waste of money ever from me, people would shit a full house if they knew the overall cost for what has turned out to be just a suspension rebuild, 6MT swap and p/p head with upped compression. I can only hope with the upped compression and p/p head that it brings a little more enjoyment when out on circuit. It has been such a nightmare really, that I don't even care about the car anymore. I'm hoping on my drive back from Osaka tomorrow, that it pleases me enough that I don't end up hating even more the choices I made with it. I'll see if I can get the dyno chart when I pick up the car, I'll just say it is not even close to what I was hoping for when I was excited at the prospects of using the Bisi parts. I don't believe J's did a dyno beforehand so nothing to really compare to. I know on an old roller dyno, it made 110 to the wheels and was corrected to be 131.7 at the engine.

All the wheels I have, not counting the 2 sets of 15", are 16x7 +42 or +43 to clear the calipers, well not true, my RE30s are 16x6.5+45 and need a spacer to clear.

It sucks to hear these parts didn't live up to your expectation.

so does the current engine you are running have the stock cam in it along with the p/p head and bumped compression?

Kyler, that is correct. I never saw the full ability of the Bisi parts. I know many owners in Asia are using them making decent numbers. J's was not able to get them to work with what they normally do. So I'm not saying the Bisi parts didn't live up to my expectations, the overall power number is so much lower than what I was hoping for. Honestly I went it thinking with the Bisi parts it should be outputting around 145ps to the wheels with the Lv 3 cam. So I'm down a good 15% right now from that number. So it is making more power than before, but with the amount of money I have thrown at this, it is disgusting. NA is not cheap, but for what I paid, another $8k I could have been in K swap territory. That is why I'm feeling the way I am about the car currently.
