i was considering getting an ECU reflash done to my 2009 honda fit. does anyone know if i can do it to a stock AT car? and should i do it after other mods, or before?

 

J's has ECU reflash for the Ge8.

J's only has a reflash for the GE8 (JDM) either for the MT or CVT. The regular AT doesn't exist here unless you have a 4WD model and J's hasn't and probably won't release one for the GE9.

That's not to say the reflash won't work on the NA model GE8, but they don't advertise that it does and even the ECUs have different part #s I believe.

On top of all that, if you were able to get a reflash, wait till after you modify other parts if you plan to, or else you will have to have it reflashed again, extra expense, to mate up with the new parts.

 

Dumb question, whats the reflash do? What mods should it be done after?
