Installation Instruction

1. Remove the splash shield (A)
· From the wheel arch on both sides, remove the clips (B) securing the front splash shield and the front inner fender (C) to the body, and remove the clips (D) securing the front splash shield to the body.
· From under the front bumper (E), remove the clips (F) and the screws (G).
· From under the body, remove the clips (H).
· Release the hooks (I) of the front splash shield from the front inner fender, then pull the splash shield out.
· If necessary remove the screw (J), then remove the engine under cover (K) (for some models).
· NOTE: To remove the clips, pry the inner pin up at the edge near the line (L) on its head.




2. Install the splash shield in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
· If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
· Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.

 

Is there a reason you haven't commented on the Si seats? Several members were looking into this and you haven't mentioned anything about them since you got them. Did they not work?

Super clean! I love the Mugen rear. I'd like the front too, but I have a Base so no go there sadly.

 

Oh you could go there. I did. I have a base with a sport bumper. Check out the link in my signature. I have documented my progress so far. I want the Mugen body kit but now I'm having trouble justifying the cost... I will most likely do the kit by the end of the summer.

Any huge improvement on the braces? I'm thinking of picking a few up - but do not know if its worth the investment.

 

I personally don't feel any different yet. It might be because I don't have front strut bar yet. Time will tell.

Good job if i had the cash for all those "parts" i would have spent them on performance rather than looks

Out of curiosity how much does the mugen kit cost?

 

the adapters on the oem alloys look great! the sport wheels are kinda skinny, just wondering if it looks weird from behind.

I would agree with you on this. I am running 225/35R18 with 18 x 7.5 +42 now. No wheel adapters/spacers.

Sorry, I am quite busy lately. I have not had a chance to post any update. But I installed map light LED, dome light LED, license plate LED, Si seats, 18x7.5 +42 wheels with 225/35R18, etc.

 

Wow, so many parts......
Basically this car was just a shell and loads of stuff were added afterwards!!

These mods cost a fortune. Looks very nice but I will probably never do them to my car...
