I'm guessing you ordered S-drives, since that's the most readily available tire in that size.

Speaking from experience, those will fit about the same as 205/40-17's width-wise, but will be a little taller.

So no, unfortunately they will have virtually no stretch on a 17x7.5.

Some pics for reference:

Oh I meant I ordered that size rim lol. So what would give me a good stretch for clearance after I roll and pull my fenders? People always refer me to tyrestretch.com but Im not really good with those things and other calculators.

Do you have a GE8? And what kind of suspension are you running/plan to run?
I had 17x7.5 et35 on the front and 17x7.5 et35 w/8mm spacer for a final et of 27 with 205/40-17 Falken Ziex ZE512, and it will rub if you are slammed unless you roll the fenders.

The Falken ZE512's run about 0.5" narrower than most any other tire due to their construction. That's what I would get if I was you.

Tires - ZIEX ZE-512 - Falken Tire

Yeah. GE8. I'm on apexi n1 exv coilovers slammed all the way down with 1 perch removed on each. Dang. Falkens and yokohama's are expensive. My friend is gonna hook me up with tires so I'll just take what I can get. But 205/40 would be good? Since I'm all the way down on my coils, I wanna keep the ride height at where it is now or go lower and at the same time, maintain no tire gap. If anything, I'd like to tuck. I'm only on the sport stockies. Does any of this make sense? Cus it's making sense in my head LOOOOOL

We should meet up sometime, I'm in Greenville or Spartanburg just about every other weekend.

Also, front wheels shipped out today to be widened. I should get them back by 9/12, and back on by the following weekend. Then it's time for more low and close fitment.

The 4 boxes are from a certain Tjin edition Fit, and the smaller ones are from Weldcraft wheel widening... pics coming soon once everything is installed and dialed in!

Still haven't got the door panels in yet and the ride height exactly where I want it, but until I do, here's a quick pic of it and my dog:

How I cut the bumper on the drivers side:

Hi,
I just bought the same Accord Exhaust tips because I like the shape of it when I see it at the back of an Accord.
My Accord exhaust tips supposed to arrive at my home tomorrow,
at this moment I have not seen/hold it on my own hand so I can NOT do any measurement...
I plan to install it tomorrow and I start searching on this forum,
and found out that you had installed Honda Accord exhaust tips.
I plan to do the right side only though (not Left & Right like yours),...
My questions is, why do you need to cut the bumper for the right side?
Is the original Fit Sport bumper opening for the exhaust not large enough to accommodate this Accord Exhaust tips?
Thanks.

Just got my tips and turn out the Right side bumper cut out is large enough for Honda Accord exhaust tips.
The problem is, the Fit pipe is much smaller then the Accord pipe,
so may I know how you make your Accord exhaust tips fit perfectly to the fit?
Do you make some kind of extra housing bracket or you just use long bolt to
fit the accord exhaust tips?
Thanks

Because I see that the stater of this thread manage to do it without welding,
(look at all the bracket he made for the left side dummy exhaust),
that is why I want to kindly ask him the solution.

furthermore, I prefer Non Welding solution so I can return it to stock exhaust tips anytime I want.

The bumper cutout will touch badly on the inner/ left side, which is where I cut it. He's the accord tip will fit, but it will not look centered. I cut mine to make it appear centered and to prevent issues with the bumper touching.
As far as the difference in pipe diameter, I bought a piece of metal and made a little bracket to space the tip in the right place. I will take some pics and post them to show how I mounted it. It was super easy and requires no welding.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply
I had been going back and forth to Home Depot, trying to find solution
from buying some 1.25 and 2in steel pipe fitting and other stuff,
finally I think I find the easy way to do it which utilizing 2 U shaped stainless steel pipe bracket (so the diameter of the Fit Pipe will be covered with the U pipe and will be closer to the diameter of Accord exhaust pipe).
I will also use a steel plate to connect the mounting bolt from the fit exhaust pipe to the accord exhaust tips.
but it is already dark now, so hopefully tomorrow morning I can install them
but if you have time, I will be grateful if you could show me how you did.
Thanks again.

Tail light tint film. You can buy it on eBay super cheap. Took about 5 minutes to apply and trim it.
