Oh for sure, looks like you're on a good start. Congrats on the purchase! And yea, just ask away when you have a question about anything and I'll help out to the best of my abilities-- if I can't, I'm sure everyone else here could chime in; welcome!

I got 'em from inlinefour(another store near my place). Yea, I broke off the pins on the back for mine, but I've seen other people drill holes on the grille to be able to fit them in-- even if you go back stock, the stock emblem still covers the holes you'd make anyway(at least for the front).

Good day I am new to the fit world about to buy one, i must say you have done a lot to your fit,
I was wondering whats the best springs to buy for it, I saw the height you had before you put on the coils..

Hello there! An early congrats on your future purchase then!

I would have to say that it all boils down to personal preference. Two things come to mind when I think about springs is how much they drop and how well they feel-- the more drop a spring gives, the more "bouncy" are firm it will feel in most cases. The springs I had before coilovers were tanabe df210's. They were bouncy and the ride was a little rough on bad roads. They dropped 1.3" in the front and 2" in the back.

If you don't want too much of a drop, I would suggest Swift springs-- they're about 1-1.5" drop and, from what I've heard, are the best in overall performance and comfort. The Eibach pro-kit is kind of like that too. Eibach sportlines are almost a 2" drop all around and has a harder ride. I was actually looking for sportline but I couldn't find one available at the time so I went with Tanabe DF's because of the drop. There are other springs like RSR, T1R, Tein, etc. I think it would be much better for you to see other people review how they are since I have no experience with them.

Here's a thread that has various springs with their drops and spring rates: Official GE Lowering Specs
I tried to find the one I used to look at that had pictures of the different drops but I couldn't find it, sorry. I'm sure you'll be able to find reviews and such about almost every spring here on this site

Hey guys experimenting on color-- probably going to powdercoat them next summer when I find some wheels to roll on during that. Excuse the dirty car and phone pics. Also on a side note-- raised up the front a bit because I'm not that hardcore haha-- got tired of the constant scraping.

HAHA, I'll probably just ask the shop to sandblast it off along with the paint under the other 2 wheels.
I had to paint these 2 quick because I tried paintstripping the original black color(biiig mistake). If you got a close look at them you'll see the uneven surface splotches from the paint that I couldn't get out but they'll do for a while.

I always like white wheels think they would would look great on my red Fit or chrome. Was it a lot of work with the bolts?

They would look awesome on red! I used to want a red EG with white wheels haha.

It wasn't too much work because the bolts are removable so I had stripped them clean of purple and rattle canned them gloss black; put em back on once I finished plastidippin the wheels.

Thumbs up

Was able to shoot some decent pics of the car with the dipped wheels-- still dirty though, don't know if you can see in the pics. Enjoy!

Plastidip is not going to last very long I rushed on them so prep work was minimal and I knew they wouldn't last but they're getting messed up already, boo. I was hoping to save up to retrofit my headlights but now I think I'm going to save up for some new wheels. I don't want to just get these painted anymore lol gunna be on the lookout for a good deal on some 17x8's next year.
