this guy is perfect example of being the one at fault in an accident, and putting blame on the other driver just to save on insurance. MAN UP

Lol....wait, what?

Let's be real, he didnt blame anyone. Also said nothing about trying to save on insurance.

Totally random post. soooo confused by what you just said.

Anyways, to OP. im not here to nag or point fingers or try to police your bad decisions. Im sure you feel shitty enough about losing a car and blah blah blah sentimental Mumbo jumbo.

I'm simply here to pillage you. Lol got anything worth salvaging? Such as say....a shift knob?

Glad you're ok by the way.

This guy is the perfect example of retards on a forum who cannot comprehend words on a screen. Never did I say anything about putting the blame anywhere else or saving on insurance, there's nowhere else to put the blame. "MAN UP"...lol, grow a brain.

Oh yeah, I should find out today if it's totaled. I'll have some things to put up for sale like the Depo's, and lots of braces... Got my wheels, rays lugnuts and spoon shiftknob off quick...can't lose those.

Thanks a lot

I'd say by showing the pics, admitting blame, he is MANNING UP. Also there is no mention of another driver.

Damn. Sorry for your misfortune. Pray they total it though. Mine was repaired after some dumb chick ran a red light while she was texting ( at least she admitted it) and now im stuck with a fit i owe 17,300 for that honda will only give me 9500 for cause it had frame work done automatically canceling it becoming honda certified used car, yeah. Freakin sucks. Not to mention the repair job sucks, and its a honda certified repair shop. I cant take it back anymore , tooooo frustrating. And i simply dont have time. So yeah man, sadly, pray for a total loss. Start over!

Damn man...owing that much, you must not have had it long. It's up to nearly 10k to fix and its worth 14k, so surely it'll get totaled. Hoping to hear today.

I initially thought this too... but then I gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured he was speaking hypothetically but just phrased it poorly.

Awwww man!

Dangit! Now you and the crew from Florida won't be adding Fit's to the Dragon run in October. I was hoping to surprise ya'll this time. Not planning to stay the night like last year, just driving up for the day on Saturday.

That's right, completely threw off your weight distribution! jk As others have said, the important thing is that no one was hurt and not a lot of damage outside of your own property.

Of course, the OP is aware of what happened and is already paying for the error. No need to rub their nose in it so to speak. Shame on those going out of their way to be nasty. Not constructive at all. Forums are for support not self-righteous diatribes.

ouch sorry to hear that! got any before pictures, car looks nice with those wheels.

Did this once with my first car, It had rained in the next city over (i was unaware) and the sun just came out, things were looking dry. I got on a freeway entrance that had a nice decreasing radius turn. I came in about 40 mph, felt great until I reached a spot in the shade where it was still wet. Ended up sliding and over correcting, smacked the small curb and broke a wheel, bent rear control arm.

Let me chime in with the defenders by reiterating that the original poster opened by admitting his error. Not sure what purpose some see in making him feel worse. If people are taken to task for their posts here pretty soon no one with anything interesting to contribute will bother taking part. Sorry about the Fit. You'll appreciate the next one even more.

Link to where you're watching the bidding? I found it by searching the vin, but never saw any kind of bidding. I saw $250 at some point for something, but I've never been around an auction to know much about how it works.

The interior got nasty at some point, the seats are nasty front & rear compared to how they were...sucks to see it like that

I've posted quite a few over the few years, but here's a few. Note that the emblems and headlights hadn't been done yet, only had them done for like a week before the wreck..

That's my mom, people who lived there were very easy to deal with though.
