2012s are black, 2009s are chrome. You could also just paint the '09s.

I was curious where to get those. Was going towards painting them but buying a set would be so much convenient,
Thank you

The ones I have are from the 2009 base model, which are a sort of grey color, and the 2012 sport ones are a gloss black.

New bulbs in. Pretty snazzy. The passenger side seems more purple in this picture, but I think it's just because of the camera. It's my cell camera off the Venue Pro, so all my pictures are pretty much garbage anyway. Lights look good, though.

how do you go about swapping the bulbs for the fogs, do you have to take off the bumper to get to that area

There is a small clip on both sides of the fog light s on the top right. For driver top left for passengers pop it off with a small flat head then use a star to take out screw then wiggle fog light out

On mine there were screws, one on each fog light housing. Just unscrew them and pull them out. Be careful though, the cabling is already pretty taut.

I don't remember the brand. I think it was Nokya or something, but they're 3000K H11 halogen bulbs. About 30 bucks tops.

UPDATE: SAD MODE ACTIVATED

So it turns out that the Cusco 2-point brace (part#376 475 A) does NOT fit the automatic GE8. The transmission mount is in the way. However, it fits perfectly on the manual, which has the mount farther towards the front of the car.

On mine:

On Matt's (swflej1):

The documentation that came with the brace indicated that it fit both the manual and automatic:

I'll shortly be getting in contact with Spencer at BeanGarage and let him know. We are also looking into the T1R brace and whether or not if fits the automatics. If someone with an auto has one installed, feel free to chime in.

On a side note, when I placed the order from Bean Garage, Spencer informed me that the 376 475 A part was an updated version made to fit both the ZF1 and the GE. I was informed Cusco no longer made the original one, which is 386 475 A.

End result: my friend got a late Christmas present, lol.

Gonna try to install them today, but my wrist is all fucked up and full of tendonitis or something.

I sent my payment on January 13th and got my tracking number on January 21st. So total time about 19 days from payment to arrival.

Got them installed, with a little hassle from my stupid hand:

Small update, but a precursor to the large one that is about two weeks away:

I'm sure you can infer what the big update might be.
