Did you remove and replace with something else, or just remove? Are they easy to get off? I am not a big fan of the side skirts on the Sport & if a fairly simple remove would take mine off.

 

Just remove the two black plastic Phillips head screws that fasten the skirts to the back lower edge of the front wheel wells. Remove about four "mushroom" black clips underneath the sides of the skirts. Slide the whole skirt forward about 3" toward the wheel well. Then just yank the whole skirt off away from the car.

But, that will leave you with about four big square holes in the metal of the rocker panels under the doors, and a large square plastic bracket that is glued to each fender just behind the wheel wells.

The car looks much better with the skirts than without them. Removing the Sport skirts will not give you a Base Fit.

Wow. You are being ripped off. I replaced my passenger side "rocker panel extension" side skirt from my local dealer, for about $100.00, after a boulder hit my car while driving on a mountain road. The side skirt that I bought was painted to match my car. I had to pull out the dented area on the rocker panel and re-paint to keep future rust from occurring under the new skirt installation. God luck in finding a decent source for a new side skirt (I assume that you just need one side for damage repair) if you can't buy from the OP in this thread.
