During the snow days we had in Md this winter the wifes Fit sat overnight and was plowed in. The next morn the snow had turned into a wall of ice... Shovels,pics and a gardening hoe were used to chip the ice wall and get the car out.
The pass side sideskirt scrapped against the icebank while being pushed out and needs to be repainted. I have a shop to paint it but want to remove the sideskirt and get it painted while my wife is still able to use the car for a few days without the sideskirt on it.
Question is does anyone have the info for removing the sideskirt?? I assume its a couple of screws at the end and clips along the side but want to be sure so as not to break anything....

 

there should be some bots and nutz to removed i guess...

you will have a better idea if you lift the car up to view from underneath.

 

Really easy to remove, i did the same thing, except it was a curb at the mcdonalds drive thru lol
Just jack it up, look behind the skirt, there should be a few clips there and beside the wheels in the fender part
then slide it back and that's it
only took me 1 minute to figure it out and pop it off
